• Flies like a plane:
• Symmetrical handling.
• Fast forward speed; because of propeller and partially loaded rotor disk, plus potential for compound configuration.
• Elevator controls longitudinal pitch, differential collective controls roll and rudder controls yaw. There is no cyclic rotor control.
• Takes off & lands like a helicopter: Option of short field or vertical, takeoff and landing; depending on pilot's desire to use the collective lever or not.

• Pilot's controls are identical to those of a plane: Control stick for speed and lateral control, pedals for yaw and throttle for lift. A collective lever is available if desired for jump takeoff, vertical landing and engine-out landing.
• Tail is at the end of a long moment arm.
• Mass, thrust and drag are inline.
• Propeller thrust location is farther forward than that of conventional pusher configuration.
• Rotor Governor;
• Automatic and constant maintaining of 100% operational RRPM.
• Automatic lowering of blade pitch to autorotation setting upon loss of power.
• Automatic raising of blade pitch before jump takeoff.
• Power is automatically and constantly split 50/50 between propeller and rotor disks. Pilot only controls the throttle.
