Notes:
Consider a hybrid system c/w ultracapacitor for short-term emergency power. This 'genset' might be located at the center of gravity where it could be discharged in an emergency thereby giving a lower disk loading etc. The genset might have a parachute.
Consider the viability of solar panels on the wings. They can be used for in-flight supplementation of the batteries, but more importantly they can be used to recharge the batteries when the craft is parked at remote locations. For example; a parked surveillance-UAV that is temporarily observing from a fixed position. [SWARM. Surveillance and Weapon with Advanced Remote Monitoring].
Consider the possibility of locating some of the power storge equipment in the area between the fore and aft motors, for aerodynamics.
Consider a turbine-genset for initial prototype.
Weird Idea: Could the outer portion of the wings serve as capacitors ~ for short-term emergency power?
